Without a micro-chip or form of ID up to 90% of them won’t return back home! It may not be your fault that your pet got lost. But it will be if they can’t be identified when found.
We noticed that there was an alarming amount of animals being found and for days/weeks these dogs/cats would be posted on social media and no animal guardians found.
This is an unimaginable amount of stress for the animal and then we looked into micro-chipping. We found that for the most part it was quite costly and that set us on our journey to find a more affordable microchip.
Once this product was found it initially started with just friends and family animals being micro-chipped and then realised this is something that should be offered to general public as well.
Creature Care was formed in 2014, with an aim to provide micro-chips at an affordable cost to try and eliminate the time that an animal is found but guardians not located. This is to alleviate the stress to both animal and guardian.
From there we began offering our services to rescue organisations at even more discounted rates to ensure that the dogs/cats that they were rehoming were micro-chipped prior to their adoptions.
We are based in KZN and travel all over to provide the service. We also attend various animal events to educate on the importance of micro-chipping as well as offer the service on the day
